Craniosacral & Massage Therapy for babies and children
Baby Massage Classes
Baby massage is a fun and healthy way of connecting and bonding with your baby.
There is much research on the positive effects of baby massage, please visit the LINKS page for further information.
How would it help my baby?
Babies love being massaged, though they will let you know if now is not the time! Sometimes first thing in the morning or after an evening bath.
Baby
massage encourages confidence, positive body image and awareness. Different
strokes can help your baby fall asleep and relieve colic. It is also
a gentle way to welcome your baby to the world, soothing any shock and
pain from a difficult birth and helping them to assimilate and orientate
to their new environment.

Craniosacral Therapy

What happens during a treatment?
During the first consultation, a full medical history is taken and we can discuss details of your current circumstances.
Any tension or asymetries in the body can be addressed, along with sleep or feeding issues. Often, parents like to get their new baby checked over for peace of mind... and the hope a good nights sleep may follow.
1/2 hour and 1 hour treatments are available.
Baby massage is often taught to parents who bring their baby for craniosacral therapy. It promotes the treatment and, as well as the benefilts of baby massage, the parents feel like they can do something themselves to help their child.

"Just FYI, literally from the day we came to see you, Emma has pretty much been sleeping through - only waking once a night and often waking so close to 6am that it feels like I've been able to sleep all night. Her appetite has also much improved! Thank you! " |
